Success Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires- Part 1
“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve”
What you about to learn here are very simple strategies that have been used by millions of people, young and old, rich and poor. These principles are very effective and simple to apply. They have been tested and proven over and over again and they will work for you, if only you believe, and apply them in your own life.
We are living at a time in history where more and more people are becoming wealthy, starting from nothing. There are more than 7 million millionaires in the U.S, most of them, man made and the number is growing rapidly each year. The best news of all is almost everyone starts from nothing. Most wealthy people were broke and failed many times before they found the right opportunity that led them to success.
There is a law that is responsible for this. It is called the Law of Cause and Effect. It say’s that there is a specific effect for every cause. For every action, there is a reaction. Success is not an accident. Financial success is a result of doing certain things over and over again until you achieve the financial independence that you desire. The Law of cause and Effect says that if you do what other successful people do, you will eventually get what other successful people get. Remember, no one is better or smarter than you.
It is interesting to note that self made millionaires are ordinary people with average education, working average jobs, living in average neighborhoods and driving average cars. They found what other successful people did and have done the same things over and over again until they achieved the same results. It is no miracle or accident. When you think the same thoughts and do the same things that self- made millionaires do, you will get the same results.
1. Dream BIG Dreams with NO limitations.
What one thing would I dare to dream if I knew I could not fail?
Imagine, that you have accomplished this one goal already.
Imagine, what you would have done to achieve that goal.
Imagine, what steps you would have taken.
Imagine, what would have changed in your life.
Imagine, what you would have abandoned or started.
Imagine, if your life was perfect, what would it be like?
Whatever it is, that you would do differently, take that step today.
This technique has an amazing effect on your mind and behavior where the clearer the picture of prosperity, the faster you move to success and your natural creativity comes up with idea after idea to help your visions come true.
2. Definiteness of Purpose.
It’s time to make those dreams above into goals. Successful people think of their goals all the time. “ If you think you can, you can”
If you are thinking about, talking about and visualizing your goals, you accomplish much more than the average person who is thinking and talking about his own her own problems and worries most of the time. Follow these steps.
· Decide what you want in every area of your life, especially the financial side.
· Write down these goals clearly and be very specific.
· Set a deadline or sub-deadline.
· Make a list of all what you will need to accomplish these goals.
· Organize the list into a prioritized action plan.
· Take action immediately. Don’t procrastinate.
· Do something EVERYDAY that moves you one step closer towards your number one goal
3. Be Responsible
From now on, take full responsibility for everything you are and everything you will be. Don’t make excuses and blame other people for your problems and shortcomings. Stop complaining about things in your life you are not happy about. Look at yourself as being responsible and make the change. You are in charge.
4. Engage in a labor of love.
Do what you love to do. What is it that you enjoy doing and have a natural talent for? Throw your self into that activity so much, that it appears that you are not working when you are engaged in that activity.
5. Be the Best
No one is smarter than you or better than you. All successful people today were once at the bottom 10% in their field. They were all doing poorly until they made a decision to become better at what they do. When you are really good at what you do, you develop high levels of self-esteem, self-respect and personal pride.
6. Work, Work,Work..
All self-made millionaires work longer hours than the average person who works only 40 hours weekly for survival. Their day starts before the regular staff arrives and they are still there when the staff leaves at the end of the day. Please remember that while you are at work, don’t give in to distractions.
7. Commit yourself to learning for the rest of your life.
Remember, no one is better or smarter than you. There is no obstacle you cannot overcome, no problem you cannot solve, no goal you cannot achieve.
