Dyllis Nicol's-How to rank in Google for Natural Keyword Optimization

The most common problem today in any type of Internet marketing, whether it is Direct Sales or MLM is to drive targeted traffic to your website. Everyone wants to be on the 1st page of Google. However, most people believe that they can only do so through Google AdWords or PPC marketing. This can be a very expensive venture for you especially if you are a new and inexperienced marketer. PPC campaigns are found ranking on the right side of Google. This is not a natural search.

If you want to rank in the natural search for Web 2.0 and content campaigns, (for example blogs, article writing, etc) you want to rank for natural keyword optimization, which you can do for free with the right research. These campaigns are found on the left side of the page. (Tip-Did you know that you will get more eyeballs and credibility on the left side of google with search engine optimization than on the right side, which is paid advertising?)

The first thing you want to do in keyword research is think of a few base keywords for your business.

Then ask yourself,

Are people searching for that keyword?

Do I have a chance at ranking for this keyword?

It would be best to explain how to do this research by looking at a quick example.

Lets go to Google, and type in the search bar, online business opportunities, the results are for 150,000,000. This may seem to be great at a glance if so many people are searching for that phrase. However, we need to go one step further in looking at our competition, to see how many websites are optimized in the search engines for that particular keyword.

To do this we need to simply put quotation marks around the keyword. So, to continue with this example, the results were 92,100. This number is way too high. A result of 10,000 is okay however; it will be perfect if you can get the result down to 5,000 or less to be effective.

Once you have found a topic that will rank well in the natural search for keyword optimization, you can write press releases, articles, do Squidoo lenses, etc and then set a tracking system to see which campaigns work well for you and expand them even further.

How do you plan to have a Marketing Strategy?

You have to first of all develop or locate an exclusive high quality or unique product that's not in competition with hundreds of similar other products. Also, keep in mind your target market. Develop or locate a product with a large geographic target and a wide appeal.

You have to develop an effective web design with the right words to get your visitor to take action and become a customer. Write as if you are talking to that one person to help find a solution to their problem.

Now, let's talk about high quality targeted traffic. Some of these will be short-term such as purchasing advertising, forum participation and getting ranked at the top of major search engines. Some will be long-term that can last for years such as opt-in or e-mail marketing, blogging, press releases, article marketing, social networking sites, giving away freebies, etc. By creating and implementing a balanced marketing strategy constantly, using both short-term and long-term strategies, you will drive a steady stream of targeted traffic to your web site.

Why do I need an Internet Marketing Education?

As we get more and more into the most depressed economic times, it is becoming more and more difficult to keep up with higher daily prices, more consumer debt and dropping credit scores. The job market has also been suffering for some time now. People are dealing with reduced hours and a possible job loss in the future, which will cause the inability to pay their mortgage, more foreclosed homes, and on and on.

This big mess that does not seem to be getting any better.
How does one get out of it?
Simple… to move away from this pressure, more and more people are looking for ways to have more control of their future, by moving towards the internet for the answer.
With the recession taking place around us, it appears that there is a recession on Wall Street and with businesses. There is no recession on the Internet!

Why is that the case?

Well, if you ask a top producer involved in Internet marketing whether income has dropped in the current economy, they would respond, “What economy?” You see, their business has grown even more so, due to higher demand from people who are looking away from their 9-5 jobs for controllable future stability in their lives.
